| Last night was our annual tradition Survival. We were all excited because we had about 80 freshmen pre-registered to attend, but when it was time to start we had only counted about 20 freshmen. It left me scratching my head and wondering what in the world is going on. About mid way through the night they started coming in clusters...5 here...8 there...and 3 here. When it was all said and done we ended up with 105 Freshmen. Some of you out there might not know the significance of a group that size. It means that these students are looking for relationships. They are looking for someone to go along side of them and share life together with them. They are desiring deep connection with other believers. What I have seen in the past when we have had a group of this size is that it fuels our upperclassmen. It motivates them to step up and truly be the leaders that they are whether they are on Council or not. I am pleading with you now UPPERCLASSMEN take a freshmen and love on them this week and for the rest of the time that you are at this school. Invest in them and you will impact their life more than you could ever imagine and the great thing about sharing the love of Christ with someone you get a blessing as well.
If you want to know how you could get started in investing in the life a freshmen this semester just come see me at the BCM or call 932-7241 or 926-5461.
It is time to get excited about this year at the BCM because...The Freshmen are here!!!

A co-worker and I were in a brief discussion the other day about how to spell the word buggar/bugger. Like - There is a buggar/bugger in your nose.
She said that it was spelled b-u-g-g-e-r.
and I think it is spelled b-u-g-g-a-r.
I tried to use spell check on Microsoft Word and it didn't recognize either.
So the question that I pose to you out there in Xanga world:
How do you spell the word for a piece of dried up snot in your nose?
It is up to you to comment and solve this debate and one of life's big mysteries. Then we can try to solve world hunger.
| Well just a short update and then back to the grind.
Well, we are finally settled in here in Jonesboro. I started my new job last week on my 24th birthday and it has been awesome to be here working for the ministry that I spiritually grew up in. Now don't get me wrong I miss my Calvary and Shreveport BCM students. But I can let go because I know that God has already started to provide for their needs.
I could not have done all this without Lindsey. She has been a rock through all this. When I had to start work she just went to unpacking. We moved in on a late afternoon on Saturday July 29 and by late afternoon Tuesday Aug. 1 the apartment was done. Lindsey has just been amazing. When you see her or talk to her tell her thanks for being a great wife to me.
My new email right now is benjamin.neiser@smail.astate.edu. I will have a new cell phone # shortly.
| Hey all!
Lindsey and I are moving from Shreveport starting next Friday July 28th. We will start loading up our moving truck that late afternoon around 5:00 if anyone is interested in helping. That would be great. The next morning we will be leaving out for Jonesboro, AR. We will most likely arrive at about 3:00 pm to unload the truck at our new place:
4300 Aggie Road Apt. 19
Just let me know if you are planning on helping us. Thanks!
